Asset Characteristics

The highway is located in the states of Querétaro and Guanajuato, connecting Mexico City with the main cities of the Bajío region, such as Guadalajara, León, Irapuato and Celaya.

This saves time and vehicle operating costs.
The highway is 86.5 kilometers long and has four lanes (two in each direction) of hydraulic concrete. It includes nine junctions, 23 vehicular underpasses, nine vehicular overpasses and 15 bridges.

The Concession Title grants the Concessionaire the right and the obligation to build, operate, exploit, conserve and maintain the highway for 30 years, including the use and exploitation of the right of way, auxiliary services and the set of activities that the Concessionaire is forced to carry out.

The project is located in the states of Yucatán and Quintana Roo. It is an A4S-type motorway with two bodies of two lanes each. The road surface is made of asphalt concrete and has a total length of 304 kilometers, including the branches of the Airport, Playa del Carmen and Cedral.

The asset has two main toll plazas and 3 auxiliary toll plazas. To date, the highway has 30 years of operation and traffic history.

The concession title grants the concessionaire the right and the obligation to build, operate, exploit, conserve and maintain the highway for 60 years, including the use and exploitation of the right of way, auxiliary services and the set of activities that the concessionaire undertakes is forced to carry out.

The 113.18 km concession is located in the State of San Luis Potosí in a corridor that connects the towns of Río Verde, Vicente Guerrero, Tamasopo, Tambaca and Rio Verde, forming part of the route between San Luis Potosí and the cities of Tampico and Altamira in the State of Tamaulipas.

The highway is considered type A2, has two lanes of asphalt (one in each direction) and includes 8 junctions, 14 vehicular underpasses, 19 vehicular overpasses, and 14 bridges.

The concession title grants ICASAL the right and obligation to: (i) operate, conserve, maintain, modernize and expand section 1 (Rio Verde-Rayon of 36.60 km in length); (ii) construct, operate, exploit, conserve and maintain section 2 (Rayon- La Pitahaya of 68. 58 km in length) and; (iii) operate, preserve, maintain, modernize and expand section 3 (La Pitahaya-Ciudad Valles of 8.0 km in length) within the federal highway Río Verde-Ciudad Valles of 113.18 km in length in the State of San Luis Potosí. The initial term of the concession was 20 years and included the exclusive right to enter into a long-term service provision agreement (PPS) with the Federal Government. Likewise, it also included the right of way, works, constructions and other assets and accessories that make up the road.

La Piedad Bypass is a toll road of 21,389 kilometers that is located to the north of the urban area of the city of La Piedad, connecting the federal highways Entronque Patti – Sahuayo and Irapuato – Zapotlanejo. The road has a main toll plaza and two auxiliary toll plazas with a total of 10 multimodal lanes.

The concession title grants LIPSA the right and the obligation to build, operate, exploit, conserve and maintain the highway for 45 years, including the use and exploitation of the right of way, ancillary services and the set of activities that the concessionaire is obliged to to carry out.

The Acapulco Tunnel concession, also known as the Acapulco Tunnel or the Maxitúnel, is a 5 km state concession toll road located north of Acapulco Bay, in the vicinity of the Renacimiento zone. This road connects at its eastern end through a distributor to the highway and federal highway coming from Mexico City, as well as with the federal highway to Pinotepa Nacional. At its western end it connects with two important roads of the port's primary network: (i) Rubén Figueroa Avenue through an overpass, and (ii) Cuauhtémoc Avenue at an at-grade crossing controlled by traffic lights.

The concession title grants the concessionaire, TUCA, the right and obligation to build, operate, exploit, preserve and maintain the section from kilometer 925+203 to kilometer 928+150 of the Acapulco-Las Cruces access tunnel in the State of Guerrero for a period of 40 years, including the use and exploitation of the right-of-way, auxiliary services and the set of activities that the concessionaire is obligated to carry out.
